Time#

Introduction#

The gray Time cards control a focused amount of time for the 123 Robot to wait until the following action is executed.

Below is a list of available cards:

  • wait 1 second – Waits 1 second before moving on to the next card.

  • wait 2 seconds – Waits 2 seconds before moving on to the next card.

  • wait 4 seconds – Waits 4 seconds before moving on to the next card.

wait 1 second#

The wait 1 second card makes the 123 Robot wait 1 second before moving on to the next Coder card in the project.

A gray Coder Card that reads wait 1 second.

Example

Drive forward 1 step, wait 1 second, then drive forward 1 more step.

A red Coder Card that reads when start 123.

A blue Coder Card that reads drive 1.

A gray Coder Card that reads wait 1 second.

A blue Coder Card that reads drive 1.

wait 2 seconds#

The wait 2 seconds card makes the 123 Robot wait 2 seconds before moving on to the next Coder card in the project.

A gray Coder Card that reads wait 2 seconds.

Example

Glow blue for 2 seconds, then turn the light off.

A red Coder Card that reads when start 123.

A purple Coder Card that reads glow blue.

A gray Coder Card that reads wait 2 seconds.

A purple Coder Card that reads glow off.

The wait 4 seconds card makes the 123 Robot wait 4 seconds before moving on to the next Coder card in the project.
