Coder Cards#
The VEX 123 Coder Cards reference explains what each Coder Card does and how it can be used in a project. The Coder and Coder Cards offer a screen-free method for coding the 123 Robot. Each Coder Card represents a command, and when inserted into the Coder, it will instruct the 123 Robot to complete a behavior.
Use this reference when you want to understand a card before adding it to a project, or compare similar cards of the same type.
Building a Project with the Coder#
Every project begins with the when start 123 card in the top slot of the Coder, marked with a white arrow.
Slide more cards into the numbered slots below it. The Coder reads the project from top to bottom.
Press the Start button on the Coder to run the project. The light beside each slot glows green as the Coder reads that card.
Change cards only when the 123 Robot has stopped running the project.
