Sensing

The Sensing pages collect the blocks used to read data from the V5 Brain and connected sensors. Start here when you want your robot to react to Brain input, measure distance, detect color, track rotation, or locate itself on the field with the GPS Sensor.

• Brain - Access values from the V5 Brain’s battery.

• Distance Sensor - Measure the distance between the sensor and nearby objects.

• Optical Sensor - Detect color, brightness, and proximity to an object.

• Rotation Sensor - Track rotational position, direction, and speed.

• GPS Sensor - Determine the robot’s position and heading on the field relative to the GPS Field Code Strips.
