Configuring a Motor

This tutorial walks you through adding a Motor to your project. By the end, you’ll have a Motor device set up and ready to use in your blocks.

  1. Open the Devices tab.

  1. Select Add a Device.

  1. Select Motor.

  1. Select the port the motor is connected to.

  1. By default, the forward direction is counterclockwise.

  1. The default Gear Cartridge is green (18:1, 200 RPM).

  1. Select Done.

  1. The Motor will now appear in your list of Devices.

  1. The Motor’s blocks will now appear in the toolbox, within the Motion category.
