Sensing#

The Sensing pages collect the Python classes and methods that let the VR Robot detect what is happening in a Playground and respond while a project runs. Start here when you want to check for collisions, measure distance, detect colors or objects, or track the robot’s position.

  • Bumper - Detects whether a Bumper is currently pressed.

  • Distance - Measures object distance, velocity, size, and proximity.

  • Eye - Detects objects, colors, and brightness.

  • Location - Tracks the position of the robot on the playground.
