Motion#
The Motion category covers blocks for controlling the motors and pneumatics on a VEX IQ (2nd gen) robot. Use these blocks to spin a motor forward or reverse, move it to a specific position, adjust its speed and torque, and read back its current status. Pneumatics blocks let you extend or retract a cylinder and control the air pump.
Each device must be configured in the Devices window before it can be used.
Motors and Motor Groups - Spin, stop, and configure individual motors or motor groups. Includes blocks to set velocity, torque, stopping behavior, and timeout, and to report motor position, speed, and current.
Pneumatics - Control a VEX IQ Pneumatic Solenoid to extend or retract a cylinder, and turn the air pump on or off.
