This tutorial walks you through uploading a custom sound to your VEX AIR Drone in VEXcode AIR. By the end, you’ll have a sound uploaded and ready to use in your projects.
Select the Control Panel tab.
Note: If the Control Panel tab is not open, select View, then Add Tab, then Control Panel.
Select the Sounds tab.
Select an Upload icon.
The Select a Sound window will appear. Select a preloaded sound, then select Add to Project.
To upload your own sound instead, select Upload Custom Sound, then select Select File to open your device’s file navigation.
Note: Sound files must be MP3s smaller than 1 MB.
The sound will appear in the chosen slot. By default, sounds are named SOUND1, with the number matching the slot the sound was uploaded to.
You can use the custom sound in a project with the commands in the Sound category for Blocks or Python.
